What changes is how much room that waste has to disappear into. On the tight lots common in much of New Haven proper, where a fenced back yard might be thirty feet deep, weekly service is the difference between a usable yard and an obstacle course. One dog, average yard
Biweekly is usually enough if you do a little pickup yourself and the lot has some size to it. If the yard is small or the dog is large, weekly is the better value, because you are paying for a yard that is actually clear rather than one that is clear every other Tuesday.
Two or three dogs
Weekly is the practical floor. Three dogs on a suburban lot in Hamden or North Haven will out produce a biweekly schedule almost every time, and the yard spends half of each cycle in a state nobody wants to walk through barefoot.
Four or more dogs
