Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated October 6, 2026

Poo Squad location owners can connect a Facebook Page, an Instagram business account, or a Google Business Profile to the Poo Squad admin so their posts publish automatically. Here is how to remove that data.

Remove it yourself

1. Sign in to the Poo Squad admin and open your location's Connections page. 2. Choose Remove next to the account. Poo Squad HQ can also remove a whole connection from its Connections page.

Removing a connection deletes its access tokens and account details from our systems right away. Posts that were already published stay on Facebook, Instagram, or Google, where you can delete them yourself.

Customers who messaged a location's Facebook Page or Instagram account can ask us to delete those messages from the location's inbox by emailing us (below). Deleting an Instagram message in Instagram deletes our copy automatically.

Revoke access at the source

  • Facebook and Instagram: Facebook Settings, then Business Integrations (or Apps and Websites), then remove "Poo Squad".
  • Instagram, if you connected it by signing in to Instagram: in the Instagram app, Settings, then Website permissions (or Apps and websites), then remove "Poo Squad".
  • Google: your Google Account, then Security, then Third-party apps with account access, then remove "Poo Squad".

Once access is revoked, our stored token stops working and we can no longer post.

Ask us to delete it

Email info@thepoosquad.com with the page or profile name and we will delete the connection and its data within 30 days and confirm by email.

See our Privacy Policy for more.
